Enter your pallet and your carton. The PalletLab Palletization engine works out, in your browser, the cartons per layer, the number of layers, and the height and weight of the load. Free, no sign-up: nothing is sent.

Pallet included. A standard truck takes about 2,400 mm. Most warehouses stack at 1,800 mm.

Results calculated by the PalletLab Palletization engine, without slip sheets, stretch film or strapping. The ranking is a comparison index between solutions, not a stability certification.

What the software adds.

This calculator is the engine alone, for one carton and one pallet. PalletLab Palletization, the desktop software, adds what the loading dock needs:

  • several products on the same pallet (mixed load), with every support checked
  • multi-pallet orders: how many pallets, which ones, in what order
  • dimensioned plans and the layer-by-layer assembly guide, as PDF
  • your saved products and pallets, CSV / Excel import
  • the link with PalletLab: the pallet designed by your manufacturer, loaded in one click.

3-day trial, no credit card. Then €39 excl. VAT per month.

Frequently asked questions.

Is this palletizing calculator really free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no limit on calculations. Everything is calculated in your browser: no data leaves your computer. It is the software's engine, limited to one carton and one pallet.

How many cartons fit on a Euro pallet?

It depends on the carton. On a 1200 × 800 pallet with 400 × 300 mm cartons, one layer holds 8. At 250 mm high and 1,800 mm total height, you load 6 layers, i.e. 48 cartons. The calculator above does this count for your own dimensions.

What is the difference with the PalletLab Palletization software?

The software handles several products on one pallet, multi-pallet orders, dimensioned plans and the assembly guide as PDF, your saved products and file import. The calculator only does the basic calculation, with the same engine.

Does the result guarantee the stability of the load?

No. The ranking compares solutions with each other for the same product. It takes into account quantity, coverage, height, load and an estimate of stability. It replaces neither a load test, nor a standard, nor the forklift operator's eye. Stretch film, strapping and slip sheets are not taken into account.

What do “column” and “interlocked” mean?

Column stacking: every layer is identical and the cartons sit exactly on top of each other, which is the strongest layout for the carton itself. Interlocked: every other layer is turned or shifted, so the cartons overlap and the pallet holds together better as a block, at the cost of a less even pressure on the cartons.
