Software born in
the pallet trade.
PalletLab is not a generic tool half-adapted to timber. It is built for one thing: so that manufacturers of pallets, crates and racks can design faster, cost accurately and sell better.
Where it started
In most workshops, costing a bespoke pallet still lives in a spreadsheet, when it is not on the back of an envelope. Every customer enquiry sets off the same routine: recalculate the timber volumes, re-estimate the labour, retype the figures into the quote, then into the delivery note, then into the invoice. Every copy is a chance to make a mistake. Every mistake is margin evaporating, or a customer disputing the bill.
The big CAD packages can draw a pallet, but they do not speak the trade: no cost price to the penny, no cutting list, no EPAL standard, no ISPM 15 treatment. PalletLab exists to fill exactly that gap : a tool that thinks like a wooden packaging manufacturer, from the first click of the design through to the invoice.
Who develops PalletLab
PalletLab is developed in France by Kevin Jacquet, its founder, who knows the pallet trade from the inside. The software is built in direct contact with manufacturers. Checkable costing, the cutting optimiser and the free-form design workshop each answer a problem met in real workshops, not an idea from a design office.
That direct line is the rule: users talk to the team with no intermediary, and their feedback sets the priorities.
Our principles, and the durability of your data
Trusting your quotes and your rates to a piece of software is a commitment. Here is what is guaranteed by design, not by promise:
Local first
Your data (quotes, customers, rates, models) lives on your machine, not on our servers. PalletLab works entirely offline.
Never held hostage
Full export of your projects (.plab file) is available at any time, even on an expired subscription. You can leave whenever you like, with everything.
Checkable
Every amount is rounded to the penny and can be recalculated by hand. If your customer redoes the sums, they get the same figure.
Listening
The product is driven by user feedback. The reporting button is built into the software, and the roadmap is built with the testers.
The roadmap
Closed alpha programme
The complete software, free, in the hands of selected manufacturers, to put every calculation to the test on real jobs. Alpha testers keep the founder rate for as long as their subscription stays active.
Beta opens
PalletLab and PalletLab Palletization on a monthly or annual subscription, with a 3-day trial and no credit card. The two applications link in one click.
Built with you
The next priorities will be decided with users. The detailed roadmap is shared with users.
